very nice set: My step-dad assembled this set for us and he said it was the easiest, by far, to assemble. We've purchased several items for our new house that needed to be assembled and he did them all. So he KNOWS what ease of assembly is.
Finish is very nice. The wood grain is very beautiful. We've been looking at coffee tables for 4 months and this one is as nice as many that cost 2-3 times as much.
The tables came undamaged, packed very well in cardboard and Styrofoam. Even the glass tops were well protected and unbroken. We've ordered a lot of put-together furniture in the past 4 months and it is always a fear that an item will arrive broken. This unit is packed so well, it would take UPS a LOT to break the contents.
The finish is closer to dark than light cherry. Not much red to it at all. It is quite dark. Which is good because we needed the pieces to be dark enough to match a bookcase in the room.
I would recommend this table set due to its ease of assembly, well-packed box, quick delivery, fit and finish is great, and just because it is a really pretty set of tables. Read more.
